MEMBERSHIP
BENEFITS |
The Membership
of the Society is open to all persons, irrespective
of nationality, interested in the promotion of its
objectives. The memberships are of three kinds:
Associate, Life and Corporate.
The membership entitles:
1. Four quarterly issues of the
Indian Journal of International Law
2. Four quarterly Newsletters
3. Books and other publications of the Society at
concessional rates
4. Participation in conferences, seminars and other
activities of the Society
5. Access to Library, and
6.
Life Members of
ISIL
Any application for the membership of the ISIL is
subject to approval by the Executive Council.

ISIL HONORARY MEMBERS
The Society honours Indian international law experts
for their lifetime contribution to the development
of international law and its wider appreciation.
Late Prof. M. K. Nawaz and Prof. B. S. Murthy were
the awardees of this honour. Eminent foreign scholars
who are not Indian citizens are awarded Honorary
Membership by the Society for rendering distinguished
contributions and services in the field of international
law. Over the years, the Society has conferred honorary
memberships to several eminent foreign scholars
of international law, namely Roberto Ago, V. M.
Korestky, Francis Nyalali, Keba Mbaye, Carl August
- Fleischhauer, Ni Zhengyu, Herbert W. Briggs, R.
Y. Jennings, Oscar Schachter, G. Tunkin, Stephen
M. Schwebel, John H. Jackson, Mohammed Shahabuddeen,
Mohammed Bedjaoui, Lord Slynn and Komal Hossain. |
